It's parked here everyday next to the bicycle racks (makes sense because it is a "bike")

I don't know bikes but I'd definitely rock this if I knew how to ride!
Also, drilled rotors and brembo brakes!

nevermind, I went back and looked at it again, I was thinking it was the 848 that was not the Panignale, got my Ducs backwards.

Your campus must be different from my campus...any idiot parking a bike that nice actually near a bike rack would rue that decision after the first day. For some reason people hear love to just walk down the row of bikes and kick the wheels until they're bent beyond repair. I can only imagine how much they would love to push over a sweet Ducati.

Really? WTF is wrong with people. Also, from my experience, the wheel on a motorcycle will withstand a pretty significant amount of abuse. I don't think just kicking at it would bend anything. A bicycle wheel yes, or something with spokes I could see as well.
You need somebody like this guy circulating around the bike rack to deal with the wheel kickers:

That would be University of South Carolina where the native drunk frat guy roams the city in the wee hours of morning in large packs looking for shit to fuck up.

A motorcycle wheel can take a lot of abuse but a toddler could probably push one off it's kickstand

I've been that guy. I like to park by bike racks so any comments are easily dismissed. I have put the wheel in the rack though. Not in a location for a bike tyre but in the rack nonetheless. The Walmart greeter in town hates my ass...
